Simultaneously evoking a sense of romantic nostalgia and future dystopia, this content showcased the autumn/winter collections by international designers at David Jones in a way that made them appear both current and timeless. The disintegrating set, with its faded pastels and encroaching sand, provides an unexpected contrast to the considered elegance of the pieces modelled by Hannah Elsye, in imagery that’s eye-catchingly surreal and beautiful. This imagery was used to create a 28-page booklet that ran in the November issue of Vogue Australia, and an enhanced iPad version including a behind-the-scenes video was available for download with the same issue. Brands featured include Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Valentino, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Dries Van Noten and Proenza Schouler.
